Accident & Personal Injury Lawyer in Fishers, IN
After suffering a serious injury, most people have the same concerns: Will I be okay? How will my family manage? What are my options? They’re looking for someone who will take the time to get to know them, listen to their experience, explain the legal process clearly, and treat their situation with the full attention it deserves.
Most of all, they need an advocate who stands up for their interests and is willing to fight no matter what it takes, even if it means bringing insurance companies to court.
Helping Indiana families through some of the toughest times of their lives is what Chris Wyant has done for more than 20 years.
When Chris accepts a case, he truly knows what it means for you and your family. That is a privilege and a responsibility he takes to heart.
I have handled hundreds of personal injury cases throughout Indiana. With over 20 years of experience handling various types of personal injury cases, I have vast trial experience throughout the state.
Chris grew up in Fishers. He attended Hamilton Southeastern High School, spent weekends exploring local spots with friends, and eventually chose to build both his career and his family in the same community that shaped him.
Today, Chris lives in Fishers with his wife Kelly, a preschool teacher, and their two daughters, Claire and Carlie. When he’s not meeting with clients or preparing for trial, you’ll find him cheering on Indiana basketball, tracking the Los Angeles Dodgers, or trying new restaurants with his family.
Fishers is where Chris raises his kids, runs into neighbors at Friday night football games, and has built a life over decades. When a local family is hurting, it hits close to home.
Chris has dedicated his career to representing individuals who’ve been injured or lost loved ones because of someone else’s careless or reckless actions.
That singular focus has shaped everything about his practice. Over two decades, he’s handled hundreds of personal injury cases throughout Indiana and tried more than 25 cases to jury verdicts. He knows what it takes to win in the courtroom, and insurance companies know he’s willing to go to trial when that’s what it takes to secure fair compensation.
His peers have taken notice. Chris was honored as a Super Lawyers Rising Star for seven consecutive years (2014–2020), a distinction reserved for the top 2.5% of attorneys in Indiana.
Insurance companies count on injured individuals not knowing their rights. They deploy delay tactics, lowball offers, and mountains of confusing paperwork, hoping claimants will get frustrated and accept less than they deserve.
Chris has spent more than 20 years pushing back.
With trial experience in over 25 jury cases, he brings real courtroom credibility to every negotiation. Insurance adjusters know the difference between an attorney who settles cases with minimal work and one who’s willing to take a case before a jury. That reputation adds significant leverage to your case and makes a difference at the negotiating table.
Chris also stays current on shifts in Indiana injury law. As the former co-editor of the Indiana Appellate Case Reporter, he reviewed every new decision from the Indiana Court of Appeals and Indiana Supreme Court that could affect personal injury claims and provided case summaries to the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association. When the legal landscape changes, he’s already prepared.
At Wyant Law, clients receive straight answers and honest assessments, even when the truth is complicated.
Every case has strengths and weaknesses. Clients deserve to understand both before making any decisions. That’s why Chris takes the time to explain exactly how Indiana law applies to each situation, what a case might realistically be worth, and what obstacles could arise along the way.
Accessibility matters here, too. Clients shouldn’t have to leave three voicemails to get an answer to their question. When someone calls Wyant Law, they talk to staff who know their name, their case, and their concerns.
Chris represents individuals and families across Indiana in a wide range of personal injury matters, including:
Whatever brought you here, Chris can evaluate your situation, walk you through your legal options, and help you decide how to move forward.
Chris doesn’t only practice injury law. He helps shape it.
He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association (ITLA), the state’s leading organization for attorneys who represent injured people. He previously chaired the ITLA Young Lawyers Section and has served as co-editor of the Indiana Appellate Case Reporter for several years.
Outside the courtroom, Chris gives back to the community that raised him. He’s volunteered as a judge for the Reach for Youth Teen Court Program, helping young people learn how the legal system works. He’s also supported Play Ball Indiana and served on the board of the Young Professionals of Central Indiana.
Chris’s roots in Indiana run deep. He was educated entirely in the state’s public schools and universities, giving him a grounded perspective on the people and communities he serves.
From Fishers classrooms to Bloomington lecture halls to Indianapolis courtrooms, Chris built his foundation here and has spent his career giving back to the state that shaped him.
While Wyant Law is based in Fishers, Chris represents injured clients from across Central Indiana and throughout the state. He regularly handles cases for families in Indianapolis, Carmel, Noblesville, Westfield, Greenfield, Brownsburg, Plainfield, Lawrence, Beech Grove, Speedway, Pendleton, and McCordsville.
